How we protect you and your data
LEO NEXUS holds information about young people and businesses. Here is how it is kept safe, in plain words.
Checked members and businesses
Leos and Lions join with an ID from their club's member list. Platform staff review identity documents, and approve each business before it can post.
Private details stay private
Other members never see your date of birth, address, NIC number or identity documents. For members under 18, phone numbers are hidden from everyone except their own Club Admin.
Encryption
All data is encrypted in transit. NIC numbers, phone numbers, identity documents and chat messages are also encrypted when stored.
A record that cannot be changed
What administrators do, such as approvals, suspensions and opening an identity document, is written to a log that cannot be altered afterwards.
Your rights
Download a copy of your data or delete your account from Settings at any time. The privacy policy explains the details.
No advertising, no tracking
LEO NEXUS shows no advertising and uses no third-party tracking.

LEO NEXUS is designed with Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 in mind.
